  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a muffin tin.
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork until smooth.
  3. Mix in the melted butter using a wooden spoon.
  4. Stir in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  6. Gently fold in the flour and then the chocolate chips.
  7. Pour the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.
  8. Bake for 18-20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
