Ingredients

  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas.
  3. Add the oats, honey or maple syrup, vanilla extract, baking soda, and salt. Stir until combined.
  4. If using, fold in the chopped nuts.
  5. Pour the mixture into a greased baking pan and spread evenly.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
