  • 1 pound ziti pasta
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the ziti pasta according to package directions until al dente.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned.
  4. Add garlic powder, onion powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper to the skillet, mixing well.
  5. Stir in marinara sauce and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  6. In a large bowl, combine ricotta cheese, Parmesan cheese, and cooked ziti pasta.
  7. In a greased baking dish, layer half of the pasta mixture, followed by half of the meat sauce, and half of the mozzarella cheese. Repeat the layers.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes or until cheese is bubbly and golden.
  9. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
