- 2 pounds beef chuck, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 4 cups beef broth
- 4 medium carrots, sliced
- 3 potatoes, cubed
- 1 onion, chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons tomato paste
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 bay leaves
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Set the Instant Pot to sauté mode and brown the beef cubes.
