  • 1 pound chicken breast, sliced
  • 1 pound smoked sausage, sliced
  • 1 pound penne pasta
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can diced tomatoes (14.5 oz)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced chicken and sausage, cooking until browned.
  3. Add the chopped onion, bell pepper, and minced garlic, cooking until softened.
  4. Stir in the Cajun seasoning and diced tomatoes, simmering for about 5 minutes.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and stir until combined.
  6. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, mixing until everything is well coated. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
