  • 1/3 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter and press into the bottom of the pan to form the crust.
  3. In another bowl, beat the cream cheese until smooth, then add powdered sugar and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
  4. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  5. Pour the cheesecake mixture over the crust.
  6. Toss the diced apples with ground cinnamon and distribute over the cheesecake layer.
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the center is set.
  8. Allow to cool completely before drizzling with caramel sauce and slicing into bars.
