Caramel Apple French Toast Casserole

  • 6 large eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 medium apples, peeled and diced
  • 1 cup caramel sauce
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cut the French bread into cubes and place in a greased baking dish.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, cream, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the bread and gently mix to combine.
  5. Add diced apples and half of the caramel sauce, stirring gently to distribute.
  6. Sprinkle brown sugar on top.
  7. Bake for 45-50 minutes or until golden brown.
  8. Drizzle remaining caramel sauce before serving.
