  • 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 cup boiling water

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add milk, melted butter, and vanilla to the dry ingredients, and mix until smooth.
  4. Pour the batter into a greased baking dish.
  5. Evenly sprinkle chocolate chips over the batter.
  6. Carefully pour boiling water over the entire mixture (do not stir).
  7. Bake for 30-35 minutes until the top is set.
  8. Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

  • This cobbler is best served warm with ice cream.
