  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 1/3 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • Pinch of salt
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, mash the ripe bananas with a fork.
  3. Stir in the melted butter.
  4. Mix in the baking soda and salt.
  5. Add the sugar, egg, and vanilla extract, and mix well.
  6. Stir in the flour until just combined.
  7. Pour half of the batter into a greased 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  8. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon over the batter.
  9. Pour the remaining batter into the pan and sprinkle the remaining cinnamon on top.
  10. Bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
  11. Let it cool before slicing.
