Cold Sesame Noodles

Deliciously satisfying cold sesame noodles with a twist of turkey bacon and colorful veggies.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces spaghetti
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup chopped bell peppers
  • 3 green onions, chopped
  • 1/4 cup sesame paste
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon crushed garlic
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 2 tablespoons sesame oil

Instructions

  1. Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions.
  2. Meanwhile, in a skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy and then crumble.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the sesame paste, soy sauce, rice vinegar, garlic, red pepper flakes, and sesame oil.
  4. Drain the spaghetti and rinse under cold water, then toss with the sauce.
  5. Add the crumbled turkey bacon and veggies, mixing well.
  6. Serve chilled, garnished with additional green onions if desired.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian version, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to add any other vegetables you like.
