  • 12 manicotti shells
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil manicotti shells according to package instructions, drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Drain excess fat.
  4. Add garlic and Italian seasoning, and cook for another minute.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, salt, and pepper.
  6. Stuff each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture and place in a baking dish.
  7. Pour marinara sauce over the stuffed shells.
  8. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes.
  9. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes, until cheese is bubbly.

  • For added flavor, mix in fresh herbs like basil or parsley.
  • For a spicier kick, add red pepper flakes to the meat sauce.
