Cottage Cheese Pasta Bake

A delicious and easy cottage cheese pasta bake with turkey bacon, perfect for a comforting family meal.

  • 8 ounces pasta of choice
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup turkey bacon, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup marinara sauce

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente.
  3. In a large bowl, mix together the cottage cheese, mozzarella, turkey bacon, egg, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Drain the pasta and fold it into the cheese mixture.
  5. Spread half of the marinara sauce in the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Pour the pasta mixture over the sauce and spread evenly.
  7. Top with the remaining marinara sauce and extra mozzarella if desired.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For a vegetarian option, omit the turkey bacon.
  • Feel free to add vegetables like spinach or bell peppers for extra nutrition.
