Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine

A delicious and flavorful twist on traditional pasta dishes, Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine combines juicy chicken with a rich butter sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces linguine
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the chicken breasts and season with salt and pepper. Cook until golden and cooked through, about 6-7 minutes per side.
  3. Remove the chicken from the skillet and let rest for a few minutes before slicing.
  4. In the same skillet, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic, paprika, and cayenne pepper, stirring until fragrant.
  5. Add the cooked linguine to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Stir in the sliced chicken and parsley.
  6. Serve immediately, garnished with additional parsley if desired.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in a mixture of lemon juice and spices before cooking.
  • This dish can be made with shrimp instead of chicken for a seafood twist.
