8 ounces spaghetti
4 slices turkey bacon, chopped
2 large eggs
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt to taste
Black pepper to taste
2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
Cook spaghetti according to package instructions.
In a skillet, cook the turkey bacon over medium heat until crispy.
In a bowl, whisk together eggs and Parmesan cheese.
Once the pasta is cooked, reserve some pasta water and drain.
Add the hot spaghetti to the skillet with bacon, remove from heat, and quickly stir in the egg mixture, adding reserved pasta water as needed to create a creamy sauce.
Add garlic, and season with salt and black pepper.
Serve immediately, garnished with parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, you can use regular bacon instead of turkey bacon.
Be careful not to scramble the eggs when adding them to the hot pasta.
