Decadent Raspberry Swirl Brownies

  • 1 cup unsalted butter
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup fresh raspberries
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, melt the butter and mix in the granulated sugar.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.
  4. Add the flour, cocoa powder, and salt and mix until combined.
  5. Pour half of the brownie batter into the prepared baking dish.
  6. In a small bowl, combine the raspberries and raspberry jam, then swirl it into the remaining brownie batter.
  7. Spread the raspberry batter over the first layer in the baking dish.
  8. Pour the remaining chocolate batter on top and swirl gently with a knife.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  10. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

  • For a stronger raspberry flavor, use more raspberry jam.
  • These brownies can be served warm with ice cream for an extra treat.
