  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pumpkin puree, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vegetable oil. Mix well.
  3. Add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
  4. In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the pumpkin mixture, mixing until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth the top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. While the bars are baking, prepare the cream cheese frosting by beating together the cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  9. Once the bars are cool, frost them with the cream cheese frosting.
  10. Cut into squares and serve.
