- 1 pound salmon fillet
- 4 slices turkey bacon
- 1 cup diced chicken ham
- 2 cups diced potatoes
- 1 cup corn kernels
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
- In the same pot, add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
- Add potatoes and chicken broth to the pot; bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, add corn, cream, and salmon. Simmer until the salmon is cooked through.
- Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon and season with black pepper before serving.
Notes
- Adjust the thickness of the chowder by adding more or less cream.
- Can substitute other types of fish if preferred.
