  • 1 pound salmon fillet
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 cup diced chicken ham
  • 2 cups diced potatoes
  • 1 cup corn kernels
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, cook the turkey bacon until crispy. Remove and crumble.
  2. In the same pot, add olive oil, onion, and garlic. Sauté until soft.
  3. Add potatoes and chicken broth to the pot; bring to a boil.
  4. Reduce heat, add corn, cream, and salmon. Simmer until the salmon is cooked through.
  5. Stir in the crumbled turkey bacon and season with black pepper before serving.

Notes

  • Adjust the thickness of the chowder by adding more or less cream.
  • Can substitute other types of fish if preferred.
