Seafood Lasagna

Enjoy a rich and flavorful seafood lasagna that combines the best of the ocean with comforting layers of pasta and cheese.

  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cups shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup scallops, chopped
  • 1 cup crab meat, shredded
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat, then sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add shrimp, scallops, and crab meat to the skillet and cook until they are just done, approximately 4-5 minutes.
  5. In a bowl, mix together ricotta cheese, half of the mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, then a layer of noodles, followed by half of the seafood mixture, and half of the cheese mixture.
  7. Repeat the layers, finishing with noodles and remaining marinara sauce.
  8. Top with the remaining mozzarella cheese.
  9. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes, then remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes until bubbly.
  10. Let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • For a spicier dish, add red pepper flakes to the seafood mixture.
  • Use fresh seafood for the best flavor.
