  • 1 pound Italian sausage
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 4 cups beef broth
  • 12 ounces lasagna noodles, broken
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

Instructions

  1. In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the onion and garlic, cooking until softened.
  2. Add ground beef and sausage, cooking until browned.
  3. Stir in crushed tomatoes, beef broth, and Italian seasoning. Bring to a boil.
  4. Add the broken lasagna noodles, reduce heat, and let simmer for 20 minutes.
  5. Before serving, stir in mozzarella and sprinkle with Parmesan.
