Spinach Ricotta Pasta Bake

A delicious and easy recipe for a comforting spinach ricotta pasta bake, perfect for family dinners.

  • 12 ounces pasta
  • 15 ounces ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup spinach, chopped
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, combine ricotta cheese, chopped spinach, garlic, Italian seasoning, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Add the cooked pasta and half of the marinara sauce; mix well.
  5. Transfer the mixture to a baking dish and top with the remaining marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes, until bubbly and golden.

Notes

  • For a richer flavor, add cooked sausage or ground beef to the mixture.
  • Feel free to substitute other vegetables like mushrooms or zucchini.
