Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 325°F (163°C).
  2. Season the pork shoulder with salt, pepper, and brown sugar.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and brown the pork on all sides.
  4. Add onion and garlic, sautéing until softened.
  5. Transfer to a roasting pan and add apple cider and mustard.
  6. Cover and roast in the preheated oven for 3 hours.
