  • 9 lasagna noodles
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups ricotta cheese
  • 3 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
  • 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cook the lasagna noodles according to package instructions.
  3. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté garlic until fragrant.
  4. Add ground beef, cook until browned, season with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese, egg, and a pinch of salt.
  6. In a baking dish, spread a layer of marinara sauce, followed by noodles, ricotta mixture, mozzarella, and Parmesan cheese.
  7. Repeat layers, ending with sauce and remaining mozzarella on top.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes until bubbly and golden.
  9. Let it rest for 10-15 minutes before serving.
