  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 1/4 cup cold water
  • 4 apples, sliced
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a bowl, mix flour and salt. Add coconut oil and water, forming a dough.
  3. Roll out the dough on a floured surface and transfer to a baking sheet.
  4. In another bowl, toss sliced apples with brown sugar, lemon juice, and cinnamon.
  5. Add apple mixture to the center of the dough, folding the edges over the apples.
  6. In a saucepan, heat peanut butter and maple syrup until combined and smooth.
  7. Drizzle the peanut butter caramel over the apples.
  8. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until the apples are tender and the crust is golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool before serving.
