- 2 pounds chicken, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon thyme
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, sliced
- 1 carrot, sliced
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 2 cups vegetable broth
