Cherry Tiramisu

Indulge in a delightful Cherry Tiramisu, a twist on the classic dessert that combines rich flavors with a fruity touch.

  • 1 cup fresh cherries, pitted and halved
  • 2 cups mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup brewed coffee, cooled
  • 2 tablespoons cherry liqueur (optional)
  • 1 package ladyfinger cookies
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, for dusting

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, mix the mascarpone cheese, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
  2. Gently fold the whipped cream into the mascarpone mixture.
  3. In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and cherry liqueur. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the mixture, then layer them in a serving dish.
  4. Spread half of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, then layer half of the cherries on top.
  5. Add another layer of dipped ladyfingers, followed by the remaining mascarpone mixture and cherries.
  6. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours or overnight. Dust with cocoa powder before serving.

Notes

  • This dessert is best served chilled.
  • Feel free to substitute with other fruits for variety.
