  • 1 pound white fish fillets
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 8 small corn tortillas
  • 2 avocados
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs. In another bowl, mix flour with salt, chili powder, cumin, and paprika.
  3. Dip fish fillets into the flour mixture, then into the eggs, and finally coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  4. Place coated fillets on a baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown.
  5. While the fish is baking, prepare the avocado crema by blending avocados, sour cream, lime juice, and salt together until smooth.
  6. Warm the corn tortillas in a skillet over medium heat.
  7. Assemble tacos by placing crispy fish in tortillas and topping with avocado crema.

Notes

  • For extra flavor, add cilantro or jalapeños to the avocado crema.
  • These tacos are best enjoyed fresh but can be stored in an airtight container.
