A delicious and guilt-free recipe for broccoli pasta with turkey bacon, perfect for a light meal.

  • 8 ounces whole wheat pasta
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • 4 slices turkey bacon
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions.
  2. In a large skillet, cook the turkey bacon until crispy, then remove and crumble.
  3. In the same skillet, add olive oil and sauté garlic and red pepper flakes until fragrant.
  4. Add broccoli florets and cook until tender.
  5. Toss the cooked pasta with the broccoli, garlic, crumbled turkey bacon, and Parmesan cheese.
  6. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  7. Serve warm.

Notes

  • For added flavor, you can sauté the broccoli in the bacon fat before adding the olive oil.
