1 cup matcha green tea
1 package ladyfinger cookies
2 cups mascarpone cheese
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup powdered sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions
Prepare the matcha green tea and let it cool.
In a bowl, whisk together the mascarpone cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
In another bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form, then fold it into the mascarpone mixture.
Dip the ladyfingers briefly in the matcha tea and layer them in a serving dish.
Add a layer of the mascarpone mixture over the ladyfingers, followed by a layer of sliced strawberries.
Repeat the layers until all ingredients are used, finishing with the mascarpone mixture on top.
Chill in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours before serving.
Notes
For a non-caffeinated version, replace matcha with a similar flavored tea.
